Working with deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals can be quite challenging, as the DHOH community has its own unique language and culture. ACD interpreters are skilled at overcoming such barriers and encouraging a “deaf-friendly” environment where everyone has a positive experience. They are among the most talented and motivated in their respective fields of experience and meet or exceed all professional certification standards.
